A walk in the park...

When you visit Cliffe Castle Park we hope you'll find the time to do some exploring of your own but before you do why not try one of our suggested walks.

Families might also like to visit the new Play Area, straight along the path from the Museum and just down the hill from Tower House and the Cafe.

There are many paths in and around the Park with plenty to see at all times of year.

The map in our Walks in the Park and Woodland - Cliffe Castle Park & Museum leaflet shows three circular walks that all start from the entrance to Cliffe Castle Museum plus a cross country route for the more active.

A new leaflet Keighley Valleys and Rivers features four routes that link together Redcar Tarn, Cliffe Castle, East Riddlesden Hall and Park Wood to create a circular walk or cycling route that showcases Keighley's most scenic and historic features. See   the Walking Routes and   the Cycling Routes for links to Google maps of the routes.

FREE printed copies of the Walks and Cycling Routes Leaflets are available from Cliffe Castle Museum and Keighley Library. A smaller PDF of the Walks Leaflet is also available via the link : Walks in the Park and Woodland - Cliffe Castle Park & Museum

The printing of both Leaflets has been made possible by a grant from the Community Chest. The Group and KHL would like to thank the Keighley Area Co-ordinator's Office and local Councillors for their backing of this project.

Please Note: The Café in the Park is closed. It will be re-built as part of the Heritage Lottery funded restoration of Cliffe Castle Park.
