Want to know a little more... Up to September 2018 there were two organisations supporting Cliffe Castle - the Friends of Cliffe Castle Museum and the Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group. With the restoration of Cliffe Castle, it was agreed that both groups would dissolve and reunite as the Cliffe Castle Support Group.

Cliffe Castle Support Group is interested in all aspects of this historic Museum and Park. We are working with Dan Palmer, Heritage Parks Officer for Cliffe Castle and with the Manager and staff of the Museum to promote and organise a range of activities and events for all.

There is no membership fee, so why not sign up if you would like to know what is happening in the Museum and Park contact us to join our email list. If you would like to help or become involved in any way, whatever your interests or expertise (no obligations or meetings) please do get in touch. Contact us by email

Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group was formed in 2010 to support Bradford Council's successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund to bring the Park back to its former glory and recreate some of its most impressive features. Two Walks Leaflets about the Museum and Park have been produced by the Group and a leaflet Keighley Valley and Rivers Walking and Cycling Routes linking local attractions has now been reprinted.

The Play Area in the Park was made possible by the Group's work with support from Bradford Council and generous grants from Yorventure Landfill Communities Fund, through funds generated by Yorwaste Ltd, and from Wren Landfill Communities Fund.
