Want to know a little more...

Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group members are interested in all the different aspects of this historic Park. We are promoting and organising events and working to improve the Park for the benefit of the environment, all those who use the Park or who live in the area.

The Group was formed in 2010 to support Bradford Council's successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund to bring the Park back to its former glory and recreate some of its most impressive features. Work should start on the restoration of the Park in early 2016 - please check the EVENTS page or contact the Group to be updated on progress.

Funding from both Keighley and Bradford Councils has provided a notice board, finger posts and a map and information board in the car park. More signs were one of the main items on local residents' wish lists collected by the Group.

Two Walks Leaflets about the Museum and Park have been produced by the Group and a new leaflet Keighley Valley and Rivers Walking and Cycling Routes should be published in late 2015, with printing funded by a Community Chest Grant from the Keighley Area Committee, CBMDC.

2013 - A New Play Area in the Park was made possible by the Group's work with support from Bradford Council and generous grants from Yorventure Landfill Communities Fund, through funds generated by Yorwaste Ltd, and from Wren Landfill Communities Fund.

We are working with local Councillors, schools and other groups and would like further help and support. So, whatever your interests or expertise please get in touch and help us out. If you would like to know more. Contact the Secretary on 01535 667001 or email us
